Standard Warranty

Ride with confidence. Every bike comes with our standard 6-month warranty to protect you from unexpected issues. Plus, every vehicle is carefully inspected and includes at least 6 months MOT, so you’re ready to hit the road worry-free

Issues covered under the warranty:

Engine:
Balance shaft/s, camshaft/s, camshaft followers, camshaft rockers, connecting rod/s, small end bearings, crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, cylinder block, cylinder barrel/s, cylinder bore/s, cylinder liners, cylinder head/s & cylinder head gasket/s, internal bushes, internal bearings, oil pump, oil pump drive, pistons, piston rings, primary drive, push rods, timing gears, timing chain, timing chain tensioner, valves, valve guides, power valves, disc valves, reed valves.

Camshaft drive belts are covered for premature breakage subject to documented proof that the last due change of the camshaft drive belt has taken place as specified by the manufacturer’s recommended servicing schedule.

Manual Gearbox:
All internal components including: bearings, gears, oil pump, selector forks, selector rods, bearing/gear shafts.

Automatic Gearbox:
All internal components including: bearings, brake bands, clutches, gears, oil pump, shafts, torque converter, valve block, valves.

Final Drive:
All internal components including: bearings, drive shafts, universal joints, drive gears.

Clutch:
Clutch cable, master cylinder, release bearing, slave cylinder.

Fuel System:
Fuel pump/s, fuel sensors, injectors, carburettor/s (excluding fuel emulsification).

Oil Seals/Gaskets:
Oil seals and gaskets that require the removal of the engine, gearbox or final drive unit.

Brakes:
Anti-lock braking pump, anti-lock braking control unit, anti-lock braking sensors, front brake master cylinder, brake calipers/pistons/seals, brake servo unit.

Casings:
Engine, final drive and gearbox casings are covered in the event of a claim brought about by the failure of a covered component.

Cooling System:
Radiator, radiator fan motor, radiator fan switch, thermostat, water pump.

Electrical:
Alternator/generator/magneto, regulator, rectifier, mechanical speedometer, mechanical tachometer, starter motor, starter motor solenoid.

Ignition:
Ignition module, ignition coil, coil packs, ignition system sensors.

Front Suspension:
Front fork seals, suspension springs, electronic control unit, sensors.

Rear Suspension:
Suspension units, dampers, suspension springs, electronic control unit, sensors.

Swinging Arm:
Bearings, bushes.

Steering:
Head stock bearings.

Combined Components:
In this instance, a 50% contribution will be made towards the covered part cost (the covered component must be the cause of failure), and 100% towards the associated labour cost.

Diagnosis:
A maximum contribution of £25 inclusive of VAT is claimable, where it is deemed necessary and authorised by the administrator. This will form part of a valid claim and maximum claim benefit.

Consumables:
A maximum contribution of £25 inclusive of VAT is claimable, where it is deemed necessary and authorised by the administrator. This will form part of a valid claim and maximum claim benefit. This includes oils, filters, anti-freeze, head skim, and items such as cable ties, washers, sealant etc.

Repair Labour Rate:
A maximum of £90 per hour inclusive of VAT is claimable (labour is only payable subject to a valid claim).

Recovery:
A maximum contribution of £50 inclusive of VAT is claimable, where it is deemed necessary and authorised by the administrator, due to the specific failure. This will form part of a valid claim and maximum claim benefit. Recovery benefit becomes effective subject to a claimable occurrence.

Motorcycle Hire:
A maximum contribution of £30 per day inclusive of VAT, for a maximum of five days is claimable, where it is deemed necessary and authorised by the administrator. This will form part of a valid claim and maximum claim benefit. The hire benefit becomes effective when the Autodata repair time exceeds 8 hours and is subject to a claimable occurrence.

Third Party Inspection:
We reserve the right to request additional information, pictures of the failed component/s, and to have the component/s and motorcycle inspected. Motorcycles will be inspected 1) at random, and 2) if the cause of failure cannot be identified by the repairer.
